Osmond & Sons Ltd. of Grimsby; “Saltona” Blood Salts tin – Photo 2 c1930s.

An original, empty, large tin which once contained a tonic for all farm animals. Osmond and Sons Ltd. was a large manufacturer of animal medicines for over 100 years. They were based in Grimsby but also had branches in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Holland and Eire. (They were known as Osmond & Son Ltd. until sometime in the middle of 1937.) The tin is approximately 1 foot (30cm) tall.
