An original, pictorial postcard published by Valentine’s as one of their ‘Valesque Series’.

The location is where Albert Street crosses Freeman Street. The White Bear Hotel is on the right and the Crown & Anchor is the other side of Albert Street. St. Andrew’s Church is a little further down the road. The Dock Tower can be seen in the far distance.

On the left of Freeman Street is Tyler & Sons’ boot and shoe shop which appears to have the alternative name of ‘Grimsby Shoe Warehouse’.
