A typically excellent portrait by Henry Jancowski of 3 Market Place, Grimsby and Eastgate, Louth. The pose is ahead of its time.

A number of of photographers had a studio at 3 Old Market Place i.e. Friston, Marsden, Jancowski, Buck and Sherlock (and, at some point, White Bros.).

Unfortunately, we don’t have a name for the lady.
