The postcard was sent from Grimsby on Tuesday 7th July 1908 by Annie. It was sent to Charles Bond, Vine Cottages, Lant Street, Shepshed, Leicestershire. Annie says that the figure 8 railway opened on Whit Monday. She also writes that she had visited the sands, the Docks, Grimsby Market and a restaurant in Grimsby.They had returned to Cleethorpes by the trams and had paused to watch yacht races in Sidney Park.
