Chambers’ Stores Ltd., grocers, 11 & 12 Old Market Place, Grimsby. The cafe was within the store.

The business was previously Charles Morton & Sons, grocers, jam, marmalade, and pickle and sauce makers.

Does anyone remember being, as a child, sat on the piano whilst the pianist and violinist played ‘Teddy Bears’ Picnic’? Many will remember the smell of coffee outside and inside the shop. 🙂 The shop was a quality delicatessen too.

Chambers pub occupies the building today.
