Grimsby’s Extra Strong Scent Bottle c1910.
An original, collage-style photographic postcard by the photographer, Joseph Samuel Bullen. An Irishman, Bullen worked in Grimsby and Louth from c1905 until c1937. His studios were in Freeman Street and later in Welholme Road.
The building on the scent bottle is the ‘Fish Manure Works Grimsby’ which we believe was in the Pyewipe area of the town.
Note: This is the original photo. We corrected the person who emailed suggesting otherwise.
