Built in 1961 by Cook, Welton & Gemmell of Beverley as ‘Robert Hewett’ LO.65 for Heward Trawlers Ltd., Fleetwood.
In 1979, she was sold to Claridge Trawlers Ltd., Lowestoft to be converted to an oil rig stand-by safety vessel. Renamed ‘St Luke’.
Renamed ‘Veesea Merlin’ in 1999. She was scrapped at Inverkeithing in 2002.
Note the original Hewett’s owl symbol on the bow.
