The construction of the Bathing Pool was completed in 1923 which is probably when this photo was taken judging by the looks of the surrounding area.

The postcard was posted on Thursday 27th August 1925 by Dad & ?. The recipient was Miss Evelyn Roberts, 20 Wakefield Road, Featherstone, Yorkshire.

The message says that the weather was lovely and that they were having a ‘grand week’. They liked Cleethorpes very much, especially the 2 miles of prom and the pier where they had lots of nice friends.
