The artwork shown here is by J. Matania, one of a family of Italian artists who produced a number of striking images. J. Matania appears to have been working from the early 1900s and through WW1.

Immingham Dock may be described as the outcome of Grimsby’s prosperity. The location has peculiar physical advantages which make it an ideal site for a deep water port.
