Found in a cellar, this is an unopened bottle of farm animal medicine with a lead seal. The treatment is specifically for: Colic, gripes or fret in horses and cattle. Hoven or blown (cow, ox, yearlings and lambs). Exhaustion (especially after foaling, calving or lambing).
First established in 1854, Osmond & Son Ltd. was a pioneer in the field of animal nutrition and veterinary supplies. The company also bred famous, prizewinning animals on their farm at Beelsby.
Osmonds was purchased in the 1970s and the company is now located near Whitchurch, on the Shropshire-Cheshire border.
