Eric Stanley Green was born in Grimsby on 17th September 1905. He worked as a fish packer and then joined the R.A.F. from 1929 until at least 1932. He married Daisy E. Wood in Grimsby in 1930. Eric died in in Grimsby in 1954. Daisy died in 1999. Eric and Daisy had a son, Eric J. Green born in Sleaford in 1931. Son Eric J. was also a photographer working from 9 Wintringham Road.

The location is, as yet, unknown. “R” on the helmets is known to mean “Rescue” and “A” on the helmet means “Ambulance”.
