This building was at the entrance to Doig’s shipyard. The ‘cut-out’ part of the wall was designed to allow large engines etc. to be hauled past the building.

Tyup Shipping Ltd. was using the building at this point. The building was demolished in the mid-1980s. Tyup Shipping Ltd. moved elsewhere until the company was dissolved in 2008.

Note: The cars appear to be a Vauxhall Cavalier and an Austin Princess.
