Harrison Mudd & Son, fish merchant, was in business on the docks in the early part of last century. In the 1920s, H. Mudd & Son was located on Wharncliffe Road South and Henderson Street, fish docks. In the 1950s, H. Mudd & Son Ltd., frozen foods, was on the North Wall and on Wharncliffe Road, fish docks. H. Mudd (Seiners) Ltd. was on Henderson Street.

H. Mudd & Son Ltd. was dissolved in 1975.
