‘Boston Kestrel’ FD.256 at Grimsby 1974.
From the original slide. Photo taken in August or September 1974.
An unusual picture! An apprentice had painted the number as 256.FD instead of FD.256. It was put right after a couple of trips.

In 1978, ‘Boston Kestrel’ was converted to an oil rig support vessel at Lowestoft. In 1985, she was registered as ‘Colne Kestrel’. Broken up in Lower Rainham in 1992.
