An original printed postcard posted in 1938. From a series of colourful postcards depicting Cleethorpes at night. The publisher is unknown. They were possibly locally produced.

This postcard was posted from Grimsby on 12th August 1938 by Mrs Jackson & Kate. The recipient was Mrs Nall, 78 Matlock Road, Walkley, Sheffield. This would be Sarah E. Nall, wife of Joseph Nall, a property repairer and builder. Mrs Mina E. Jackson, a widow, lived at the same property.

The weather in Cleethorpes that day was lovely in the morning with a thunderstorm in the afternoon.
