A direct scan from the original, rare photographic postcard. We have never seen this image before. The photographer/publisher is not given but it has all the hallmarks of a photographic postcard by Harry Shaw, photographer, of Grant Thorold Studio, 54 Durban Road, Grimsby. The postcard is unposted. The photographer must have set his camera up on the Freeman Street/Nelson Street corner opposite The Red Lion.
