St. Andrew's Church on Freeman Street was demolished in 1961/62.

This wonderful, colourful memorial was saved and is now in the Church of St Andrew with St Luke and All Saints which is on the corner of Albion Street and Garibaldi Street. The foundation stone for the church was laid on 2nd June 1966 by Gudmundur Gudmundsson, the Icelandic ambassador to Great Britain.
