An original, unposted, printed postcard. From a series of colourful postcards depicting Cleethorpes at night. The publisher is unknown. They were possibly locally produced.

Another postcard in this series, and on this site, was posted in 1938. This helps with the dating of the postcard. Also, the films “Lily of Killarney” and “I’ll Tell the World”, named on the posters, were made in 1930 and 1934, respectively.

Hawkey’s had a number of cafés in Cleethorpes. The one shown is their non-stop “OK Café”.
