From a negative.

The steam trawler ‘Andrew Kelly’ GY.741 was built in 1912 by Cochrane & Sons, Selby for Atlin Construction Co. Ltd., British Colombia, Canada. She was registered at Grimsby by Thomas Robinson who was the agent. Sold to Canadian Fish & Cold Storage Co., Prince Rupert, B.C. in 1917.

‘Andrew Kelly’ went to Canada in 1930. In 1932 she was converted to a tug. She was renamed ‘Island Commander’ in 1942 and registered at Vancouver. From 1971 to 2020 she was owned by Island Sea Marine Ltd. (Ken Higgs), West Vancouver B.C. She is now owned by Atlas 1909 Adventures Ltd., Vancouver B.C. and, happily, she is still afloat.
