An original, real photographic postcard. No photographer/publisher is named on the reverse but it’s highly likely that the publisher is Doncaster Rotophoto.

Ye Olde Whyte Hart is on the right. J. W. Eason & Co., passenger agents and shipping agents, is beyond. This was opposite the Yarborough hotel and Station entrance. Thomas Savage, draper & milliner, is to the left of Eason’s.

Benstead, coal merchant, of Wellowgate and Haven Terrace is advertised on the wall and Sunlight Soap on the tram.
