Edgar Hall Felton Mrcs. Frcp. M.B.E. was born in New Clee on 16th November 1876. He was the son of Matthew Alonzo Felton, a Master Carpenter, and Sarah Ann Felton (née Hall). By 1901, E. Hall Felton was a Medical practitioner in Grimsby. He was with the Red Cross V.A.D. 36 Lincolnshire N. in WW1. In 1911, he lived at 54 Park Street (“Torrington House”). In 1939, he lived at 71 Bargate. Dr. E. Hall Felton was living at 16 Cumberland Avenue when he died on the 3rd June 1961, aged 84. His wife, Margaret Louise Felton, died in 1962, aged 88. Their son, Thomas Hall Felton (1904-1971), of The Priory, Laceby, was a dental surgeon. Their second son, John (1908-1985), was a joiner (labourer government cert.). He lived at 71 Bargate and at 15 Westminster Drive, Grimsby at the time of his death.
Queen Victoria was crowned at Westminster Abbey, London on 28th June 1838.
