WW1 Humber Forts at low tide 2022.

These two forts were built between 1915 and 1919 to protect the Humber Estuary. They were recommissioned in WW2 and finally abandoned by the military in the 1950s.
Haile Sand Fort is the closer fort in this picture. It’s the smaller of the two and is located between Cleethorpes and Humberston.
Bull Fort is about 1.5 miles from Spurn Point.
