At the time, pig powders were ‘invaluable’ for keeping pigs healthy. Dennis’s “Lincolnshire” Pig Powders were, perhaps, the most famous. Antique and copy signs advertising their product are sold all over the world.

To date, we cannot find any information about ‘Eggleston’s Famous Pig Powders’. Was somebody in Flottergate just jumping on the bandwagon? Was it Henry Eggleston, milk dealer, of Kent Street?
