Railways Athletic Association swimming award 1934; Frank Tuxworth of Grimsby.

We believe that R. A. A. is an acronym for the Railways Athletic Association. The diameter of this heavy, white metal medallion is 44mm.

(Alfred) Frank Tuxworth (1894-1976) was a railwayman. He was a lance corporal in the Royal Engineers in WW1. He served in Egypt. (Alfred) Frank Tuxworth married Charlotte Wood Rogers in Grimsby in 1921. They lived at 221 Durban Road Grimsby from 1928 until Frank died in 1976. Charlotte Wood Tuxworth died in 1980.

Frank and Charlotte had three sons. Two were killed in WW2.
